Ok, just put up my first above ground pool this summer and quickly got tired of manually vacuuming the pool. I did some quick research on automatic pool cleaners and based on both cost and reviews I chose this unit over a Hayward Wanda Whale. I'm not entirely sure I made the best choice. My only complaint is the noise this thing makes. The flapper, which is the only moving part, makes a really loud click-click-click sound. It gets annoying really fast and you can literally hear it two houses over from me. A little more research and I've found mention of these things being banned in some communities due to the noise. I've contacted Pentair and basically got a run around, you've got too much suction etc., then they finally flat out said the clicking noise is normal. If this thing were quite it would have been 4-5 stars easy. Instead I'm already thinking of eating my loss and buying another quieter unit from another company.
Pros
1. Cleans very well.
2. Has yet to get stuck. (we remove stairs)
3. Easy to setup. Less than 15 minutes for initial setup. After that 2 minutes to remove/add to pool.
4. Leave it hooked up and pool is cleaned automatically with each filter cycle.
5. Even works under our solar cover without issue.
Cons
1. Noisy.
2. Real Noisy.
3. Did I mention the noise?

This E-Z vac is working out great for our 18 ft round pool, it cleans well and the price is great. Have had no problems at all with this product. Well worth the investment -vs- using the cheesie set up the pool manufacturer provides :)

I ordered the Kreepy Krauly pool vac, it was shipped out expediently!! It was exactly as the seller claimed it to be, brand new in original box...husband and I opened it up got out all the parts sat in living room and put it together. Then we sat there and read the manual and it said right there it would NOT perform the functions that we had bought it for (algae). So we boxed it back up and I called customer service In The Swim the next day. They could not have been nicer!!! So, for THAT they get 10 Stars!! She just said no problem send it back and you will see your money in yada yada. and sure enough I did. So, would I order from them again, You bethcha!!! Thanks again In The Swim, and no I don't know anyone there! But we always here about the bad so why not the good!!! Thanks Mary Wickersham,TEXAS
