If you read the reviews on here, you'll notice that some folks had trouble coping with the bad "musty" smell of some of the other types of synthetic material moving blankets. Well, you won't have any problems with these. They don't "smell funny" because they're made of cotton, and they are heavy-duty, very large, and perfect for moving. I also keep one in my car for using as a blanket to sit on for a picnic, or to use as an emergency blanket. These are premium, heavy-duty, well-made blankets. If you want to do the job right, these are the ones to get. Also, because they're cotton, they're washable, although it takes a while for them to dry in the dryer (which is understandable).

These moving blankets are great! All cotton, they wash wonderfully, and don't smell bad. They're thick, durable and heavy - I use them in the back of my car for my dogs to lay on, and I also use them to pad their crates. The basic black works well for blending in - some moving blankets have awful colors. The huge size is versatile, and could easily cover a large couch. Because of the thickness, they take a while to dry in a dryer, but we've been hanging them to dry and that's worked out well. A very good value, especially in the 4-pack. These will last for decades!
