Our present stroller is a Quinny Buzz. Despite how beautiful it looked and how comfortable it was for my toddler, It was becoming too heavy for everyday use. Also, we needed a travel stroller for an upcoming trip and I was definitely not going to fly with the Quinny.
After over a month of reading reviews, and visiting the stores to check out the items, I finally decided to take the plunge and get the Inglesina Swift Melone. My initial choices were the Maclaren Quest (because of its recline and Maclaren's reputation), the Chicco Liteway (also because of good reviews), the Uppa Baby G-lite (because of its weight) and the Inglesina Swift (because it was called one of the best lightweight strollers).
I decided on the Inglesina because for the price I was going to get it (99$), it is cheaper than the Volo but will offer the comforts of most of my other choices. It is also very light at 13lbs (lighter than the Chicco Liteway, which was heavy at 16lbs). Even with this weight, the frame looked and felt sturdy, and is very steady. The navigability is very easy too as the wheels turn easily, even with one hand navigation. The 4-level recline is also a plus for me since that feature can be found only in higher priced lightweight strollers (definitely NOT with the Volo, Triumph or G-lite).
The Inglesina Swift Melone (I assume Melone is the italian word for the orange colored fruit, Melon) is such a beautiful shade of burnt orange (not bright or neon) and is wonderfully offset by the black frame. Note that one reviewer complained that its color is orange- that reviewer is correct but the color does not in any way make the stroller color less elegant.)The basket is spacious and can be accessed from the side even if it is on full recline. Finally, it is very very easy to fold. The first time I saw it, I immediately figured out how to fold and unfold it (without reading the manual). With a little more practice, I can probably do this with one hand.
What I disliked about the product: its handlebars ARE very high. I am only 5'4" and the handles are almost up to my chest. I would have wanted it to be padded more but I suppose my baby. is comfortable enough on it. The straps are very thin and looked flimsy, and I will probably reinforce it with shoulder pads. However, these disadvantages are ones we can live with.
For its price, appearance, sturdiness, navigability and weight, I highly recommend the Inglesina Swift.
Update:
We took this stroller on a 9-day trip to Korea that included riding planes, trains and cabs and walking on paved roads, bumpy sidewalks, sand and grass. I must say the Swift held up well. One reviewer mentioned that after some time, the front wheels seemed to have a mind of their own and I noticed the same thing. But It's nothing that can't be controlled. I was really thankful for the stroller's 12 lbs weight as it was not a hassle trying it up and down the stairs (a carry-on strap would have been nice). The stroller does not fall backwards even when you hang a (moderately heavy) baby bag on the handles AS LONG AS you put the bag further down the bars (not near the handles). Before we learned of this trick, the stroller tipped over a few times. My little one fell asleep a lot of times on the Swift, which makes me think the recline and the padding are comfortable enough. I did not realize how important a peep window was until I lost it- the Quinny has one, the Swift doesn't. I would have to fold and unfold the canopy to check how the little one is doing. Also, when folded, the front wheels touch the canopy so the latter can get dirty (nothing that cant be washed off.) I maintain my 4-star rating because of the front wheels, the lack of carry-on strap and the lack of peep window. Otherwise, this is really the perfect travel stroller.

It was a no brainer to me when I first looked at this stroller in the store. It is very similar to the Mclaren but half the price. I would agree mostly to the previous review.
